Where on earth has the past week gone. Seems like only yesterday that we were heading off to carving club and I'm getting the things ready again. This morning I've sown winter lettuce and covered it with a sheet of perspex. The back garden is starting to turn autumnal and slowing down. It's lovely and warm today and perfect gardening weather but I'm off to the hospital to keep my friend company. She's going for her hip appointment and we both think that a replacement is on the cards.
Here in Chicagoland USA, I think we must have had the same weather patterns. It's been unusually late hot with cooler nights and everything seems to be stymied and confused. And, my Salvia is luscious right now...apparently it didnt' like our hideous temps this summer. Always fun to peek in on the 'other side of the pond'. Thanks, Sandi
ReplyDeleteI love to see other people's gardens. It's a great way to collect new ideas.
