The first Spring flowers are popping up all over the garden and they are a real joy to see. If I am being honest... and I feel terrible for saying this. The snowdrops are a bit of a nuisance. Lovely though they are they are popping up al over the lawn and the greenery seems to stay there forever. I try to leave it all for as long as I can stand it but eventually that lawnmower has to chop the leaves off the poor things.

It fills me with joy. I am watching my early flowering clematis buds getting bigger and bigger.

I have a camellia that is a mass of buds. I am looking forward to the day when it bursts into colour
DeleteI also have a camellia which already is forming buds. How weird is that with us living at opposite ends of the world.
DeleteSpring is coming.........pity about the snowdrops as we never see the bulbs for sale anywhere here, though we do grow snowflakes. My big curse is freesias popping up all over & also the little native violet we have. Enjoy the Spring flowers, take care & hugs.
ReplyDeleteI adore freesias... Oh the fragrance is so pretty
DeleteHow we would love a snowdrop or two in our lawn!
ReplyDeleteOhhh I am so looking forward to Spring...
