Still blimmin waiting

I hate  it when something is supposed to arrive at a particular time and you are still sitting waiting hours later. Tony didn't need to take today off as he would be home by now usually and the flippin shed still hasn't arrived. We had hoped to get it painted today and then erected tomorrow. I doubt that is going to happen now. ........ fume....... On the plus side, Tony has pottered on in the garage making something for Christmas for me.  I have no idea what and am intrigued. 

It's been a lovely, mild and slightly sunny afternoon and the compost bins have been turned again. I spent a while just pottering about in the veggie plot though there isn't really very much to do at this time of year.  I did chop a load of vegetation down in the border at the front of the house and I'm leaving it to rot down through the winter as it'll be  good compost for the soil. That border will house my pepper plants next year as it's very sheltered and  hot and sunny there. My brain is buzzing with all manner of things that I plan to grow next year.
