Himself won't say that again...

I had a full day in at work again today and came home bushed.  Tea was really simple as I had lifted two breaded fish fillets out of the freezer before I went for the train. I came in, switched the kettle on and quickly boiled some rice  (not sure how I would slowly boil some rice)  I stir fried a load of veggies and chucked the rice in a few minutes before serving tea. It went down a treat with the fish.

But what did himself have to say on the way home from work?    'Your parcel has arrived but it wasn't even wrapped, it just had an address label stuck on the box'..   'Did you open it', I asked... 'No' said himself... 'IT'S YOUR MOP BUCKET'...  'No love' says I quick as a flash...' I have bought it for you as a present. You know you can't refuse to accept a present'  :-)  But actually, you know what?  I am chuffed to bits with MY mop bucket. I'm not at work tomorrow so I will give it a try.. I'm a real sad so and so aren't I?

  3. Lol. That's funny! Sounds like a lovely meal after a hard day's work. Does your husband cook? Perhaps he could help with some meals. I'm lucky that husband can cook (at least some basic things) lol

    1. Tony seldom cooks but I don't mind at all. I love cooking. He always washes the dishes afterwards and brings me a cup of tea. We each have our own little roles and it suits us perfectly
