I've just cooked some more pasta to make into salads for lunch tomorrow and Thursday. Tomorrow's packed lunches are in the fridge and I put the extra pasta in a bowl and popped it in the fridge for Thursday. Instead of covering the bowl with cling film I used one of the wax wraps that I bought the other week. I am really impressed with them and will put a link to the company at the end of this post. I have bought some bees wax to have a go at making my own wraps and I will add a link to that company too. I won't bore you with details of what we had for lunch today but I'll put a little post and photo on my Twenty in 2020 page

The bars of bees wax are a good size and they are great for sewers and beaders too. Just run the thread through the wax for a thicker stronger thread.

Glad you are finding the beeswax wraps really useful. I love mine and use them continually and have not had to buy cling film for a very long time! Meg:)
ReplyDeleteI am hoping to make some more at the weekend
DeleteI'm very interested. I still use cling film but really ought to reduce how much I use. I'll look up your links, thanks very much.

We won't be buying any more cling film now that I have discovered the wax wraps

ReplyDeleteIf you have gone back to work, then make sure you get good rest when you are off! Take care!
Such a wonderful idea will certainly be investigating further.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the links. I have some beeswax that I bought for making soap. It smells divine.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing the info about the wax wraps. I am thinking of making some, myself - have to buy the beeswax, first!
