A thoroughly lovely day

I've had a smashing day off today. I had an early morning walk with a friend and later on a walk to the library to renew my unread books with a different friend. Then I had lunch and an afternoon playing Rumikub with friends  at our favourite place.
It had been my intention to bake a chocolate cake today but that didn't happen. Just as well, because my waistline doesn't need any extra padding. Tomorrow I am back to work but only for the morning and I am starting to get my crafting mojo back so I might have a little play in the craft room when I get home

On Saturday while Tony is at the footie, I am going to look at wedding dresses with Beckah and her mum.  I am touched to the core to think she wants me along.  The wedding isn't likely to be until next year but Beckah and Alexander want to get an idea of the potential cost.

  1. Never heard of Rumikub but you have educated me. I've been on youtube and now know.
Looking at wedding dresses sounds fun, bet you'll be looking at all the beads and thinking what you could do with them, I know I would. lol

    1. I could stock a small shop with beads from my stash

    1. We love it. It makes the old grey matter swirl a bit though doesn't it.
