| All ready for a long slow roast in the oven |
When we got back from our walk I decided to make Tony's packed lunch for tomorrow as he will be back at work then. I cooked some pretty pasta bows and made a lovely salad with tomatoes, cucumber, avocado, grated carrots and prawns. I mixed in a spoonful of mayo and set it all on a bed of lettuce. Then I put the pasta bows on top. He can stir it all together before he eats it. It seemed a shame to hide the pretty pasta..
The lamb looks amazing even before it cooks, enjoy. x

ReplyDeleteI intend to bake more bread this year.

ReplyDeleteI wonder if the thicker stalks would be strong enough to use as skewers. I will give it a try in the summer
