Beef Dripping

Yesterday I used beef dripping to make roast potatoes and parsnips... I had never bought it before but they were the  best roasties I have ever eaten and I will be cooking them that way from now on.
I've been for a walk this morning and when I came home set to and had a bit of a baking session as there was a packet of puff pastry that needed using up. I made a cheese tomato and onion flan and used the pastry offcuts to make little star shaped pastry puffs. We could use them as vol au vent pastries but they are just delish on their own.  The flan will be lovely with a bit of salad for tea. Tony can have a slice for tomorrows packed lunch

    1. I wish I could take the credit for it. It's shop bought ready to roll.
