| My friends grandchildren had great fun painting these with me |
Along the lanes I'd love to wend, near Artist's Mews, on Writer's Bend. Where fragrant flowers of every hue sparkle in the morning dew. I wish I lived in Carver's Valley, Quilter's Creek or Cross Stitch Alley. Just think of all the things I'd make, if I lived by Crafters Lake.......... Crafting with the kids
It is coming up to the long school summer break. What are you going to do to keep them occupied this year? Why not take them for a walk and gather some different dried grasses and a few feathers... if they aren't keen on handling feathers then take a clothes peg along. They can use that to pick up the feathers. When you get home spread a couple of sheets of newspaper on the floor or table and let them paint the feathers and grasses.

Great ideas and very colourful. My nieces love painting the goose feathers left around the farm for their geese, love the dried grasses idea. Emmax

ReplyDeleteThose are so attractive! I'd never have thought to do that.
ReplyDeleteThat's the trouble Jenny... I see everything as an opportunity to make something. I wish I could stop
