Up with the larks

Good morning everyone.  I was wide awake at 06:00 and out of bed by 06:20.  We have had a frost overnight which came as a bit of a surprise but I was glad that I hadn't put the concrete planters outdoors.  I have no idea how well they will stand up to the really cold weather.  Even if cracks do appear the fabric should support it until I can add another coat of cement. They have just  been moved out into the garden where they can sit until the weekend. The mess that I created is now all cleaned away and the conservatory looks habitable again.  Tony is such a sweetheart. He never complains about the mess I make when I'm experimenting with hair brained ideas. He actively encourages me to create and often comes up with some good ideas.
This morning I have a haircut booked for 11 and then it's off to my friend Tripta's for lunch. She is a fabulous cook and I am really looking forward to a good chinwag. Tonight, Tony and I are going to our carving club.  I have quite a few little wooden projects that I can be getting on with.  The sock that I am currently knitting is coming along nicely but I don't think I will have time to work on it today. I'll be glad when it is finished as I have seen some lovely crochet patterns that I want to try. Hopefully the weather will start to improve now that May has arrived.  The sun is certainly trying to shine at the moment. With a bit of luck I might cut the lawn before getting my hair cut.... unless it rains, in which case I won't.

  1. They came out great Cherie. Looking forward to seeing them planted up now.
Forgot to answer your question about CEX.....it's a shop that buys, sells and swaps mostly electronic stuff but will also buy DVD'sand CD's although ours doesn't have a massive range of CD's.
    Hugs-x-
