I'm absolutely loving the new craft room and making great strides in destashing. Yesterday we chucked out about ten ten years worth of old teaching stuff. It's given me masses more room for stuff that I'll actually use. This morning I sharpened all my chisels and it's lovely to be able to leave my current carving out so that I can work on it when the mood takes me.
I have that big box to sort through and need to get some bags to store the spare duvet and sheets. I couldn't bring myself to part with them as I only bought them last year for the spare room. They've only been used a handful of times.

It feels good to get rid of/ or pass on crafting things we no longer need. A lot of my stuff went to D's school or to other children's groups. Your crafting room is looking great. Perfect for both of you to enjoy.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely week.
I've sent loads to a local mental health group in the past.
DeleteYour happy space. X
ReplyDeleteVery much so
DeleteLove how it is looking. It's so good to have a room for crafting, it means the rest of the house remains nice and tidy and you can leave your projects out while you are working on them. Yay for craft rooms!
ReplyDeleteThat is so true. I'll be more inclined to start crafting projects again now that I have a proper space.
DeleteLooking good, Cherie. Your stash is bigger than mine. My workspace tends to get cluttered because I don't tidy up in between projects. Too eager to start the next one before I have put away the bits and pieces that I didn't use from the previous one.
ReplyDeleteI have another work area up in the loft but it's not being put to good enough use.
DeleteIt looks amazing. It's like you're making space for creativity. I can't wait to see what comes out of your craft room now.
ReplyDeleteI want to make a couple of patchwork quilts to use up some fabric stash.
DeleteWow it all looks so lovely. I really need to work on my space.
ReplyDeleteI'm so pleased to have a proper work space again.
