Along the lanes I'd love to wend, near Artist's Mews, on Writer's Bend. Where fragrant flowers of every hue sparkle in the morning dew. I wish I lived in Carver's Valley, Quilter's Creek or Cross Stitch Alley. Just think of all the things I'd make, if I lived by Crafters Lake.......... Growing food indoors
During the Autumn last year I ordered a beautiful sunshine yellow GreenStalk. My intention was to plant mini varieties of peppers, tomato, aubergine and chillis. Tony bless him decided to pay for it as a Christmas present. BEST PRESENT EVER... I have said it many times before and I will say it again. If you only have a tiny space to grow veg then these planting towers are fantastic. They are not cheap but will repay the investment many times over. This morning I've filled two of the tiers of my indoors GreenStalk and planted on some of my little seedlings. With a bit of luck I will be harvesting fresh tomatoes, peppers, aubergine and chilli long before the outdoor ones are ready. When I think of how much money I've spent on crafting materials over the years my eyeballs bleed. At least this investment will feed Tony and I. If my conservatory faced a different direction I'd be putting one in there too. They come in a lovely range of colours and would be stunning filled with flowering plants. I bought mine from Rooted in Bolton. If you decide to invest in one please mention that you saw them on my blog. I don't receive anything for that but it's nice to support our own UK suppliers.
