I want to give a big shout out for UK Leather Jackets this morning. Tony has taken a liking to my sheepskin flying jacket and fancies one himself. I researched a number of companies and after reading the different reviews I contacted UK Leather Jackets. A lady called Diane emailed me with a list of different measurements that I should send. When I expressed my concern that a sheepskin flying jacket might swamp Tony (he's only 5ft tall) Diane didn't try to sell me a jacket but agreed that the style might not suit him. How absolutely refreshing to find a company that isn't simply after a sale. If anyone is in the market for a nice leather jacket I'd suggest taking a look at the website. Be careful though as there are several companies with a similar name. Do your research and read the reviews. A jacket like this is an investment piece and will last a lifetime if cared for properly.
The vinyl floor looks really nice and we went and bought a set of runner and mat. We think it must have been priced wrongly at £2.50 as we went to get another to find they were all gone.
The new fridge freezer is up and running. The silence is wonderful. Our old freezer ran constantly and noisily and must have cost a small fortune to run. The new one is huge in comparison and perfect for me to store my veg gluts next year. And I made Tony smile when I suggested that we might decorate it for Christmas with some of our little window cling thingies. That's a definite idea and I've no idea why it hadn't occurred to me before.

That does look lovely. What a find on the rug!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly is refreshing to hear of a company like that. There aren't many of them around any more!
Sounds like the new fridge was needed and welcomed!
The flooring looks great. Glad you got an honest salesperson regarding the jacket.
