Earlier this year my friend in Canada sent me a little packet of Badger Flame beetroot seeds. I sowed them and they grew into really pretty tasty golden beetroot. They've been a huge hit with my friends so I left one go to seed. It's incredible how much seed the one beetroot produced and I'll be passing some on to my friend's as soon as they are properly dry.
Along the lanes I'd love to wend, near Artist's Mews, on Writer's Bend. Where fragrant flowers of every hue sparkle in the morning dew. I wish I lived in Carver's Valley, Quilter's Creek or Cross Stitch Alley. Just think of all the things I'd make, if I lived by Crafters Lake.......... Time to save seeds
Below are two Medjool date seedlings that I've grown from the stones of the dates. The roots are big thick fleshy things and I'm hoping to grow the seedlings into nice houseplants
And here's the carrots that I harvested from my Greenstalks to add to our beed stew yesterday. They're about the thickness of my thumb and tasted divine. I love the bright cerise ones.
