Tony has made a start on the patio and I've had to walk away before I get really angry. He gets so nasty with me over the most trivial thing and I won't put up with it. It's a three strikes and I walk away now instead of getting stressed and upset. He's only been working for twenty minutes and used up his three strikes. Thank goodness I'm going out for lunch with some friends to celebrate a birthday.
I empathise completely Cherie, it's difficult isn't it. Enjoy your lunch, the de-stressing will be lovely xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Sooze. I had a lovely lunch with friends and came home to a lovely new patio.
DeleteI'm so sorry to hear that you're going through this. It's really tough when a project like that causes so much stress. Walking away and not letting it get to you is the smartest and strongest thing to do. I'm glad you have a plan to get away and celebrate with friends, you absolutely deserve a fun and stress-free afternoon. Enjoy your lunch.
ReplyDeleteThanks Melody. My lunch with friends was lovely.
DeleteOh, no! I'm sorry to hear this, Cherie. I think you have the right response in these situations, and I hope you enjoyed lunch with your friends. Xx
ReplyDeleteI should have responded like this years ago and not got upset. I'm much stronger now and won't allow anyone to treat me badly.
DeleteWalking away before angry words take us on a bad journey is always best. Tony made a good job of the patio so I hope he has been forgiven now. ๐
ReplyDeleteHe has. I never let an argument linger.
