On Friday last week Tony and I decided we'd start walking for an hour each day. We've opened the Google Fit app on our phones so that we can track our progress. This morning while out walking we passed one of our local railway stations where it's been beautifully decorated with knitted bits and pieces
When we came back we had a quick coffee before heading out into the garden. While Tony worked in the front garden I tackled the shed.
I condensed a load of craft stuff and now two cupboards are going to the municipal dump next week. I've a long way to go before I can call it finished but I cleared out a huge space. My potting bench is now installed in the shed where it should have been all along. I've filled two charity bags with plant pots and seed trays. We'll take them to carving club on Tuesday and offer them to our friends. If nobody wants them they can go to the dump. I had to take the doors off the cupboard to reduce the weight ut it fits perfectly on top of three sets of craft drawers. Next job is to go through each shelf and drawer and cull out anything that I no longer need. It's a mammoth task but so long as I tackle it a bit at a time I won't get bored with it... Wish me luck. The top picture is how it now looks and the other two were how it looked this morning before I started

were those poppies made out of wool? They are really cute.
ReplyDeleteThey are. I particularly liked the Union flag.
DeleteWow well done with all the sorting! I've got a long way to go.
ReplyDeleteI love the yarn bombing. I think it's fun to see things like that and people are so talented!
I've got a long way to go too. Baby steps and we'll get there.
DeleteOrganising craft cupboards can be a nightmare!! I keep opening mine, and thinking "I really should..." and then closing the doors on the chaos once more!!
ReplyDeleteI've been doing that for far too long. I really need to get on and sort it all out.
DeleteWell done for tackling the shed and all those boxes. Little steps moving forward will make a real difference to creating space. Keep going. 😊
