Do you remember last year when I got a load free compost from a cannabis farm that had been raided by the police. Well look what we've just collected today. It's obviously been dumped by the naughty growers. I've sown loads of different vegetables straight into the pots as the compost is absolutely beautiful. My friend has a van and was able to fill it floor to ceiling with tubs and bags of the stuff.

DeleteThat's an incredible haul of free compost. It looks like quite a score, especially knowing how good it was last year. Filling a van floor to ceiling is serious dedication, and it's fantastic that you're putting it to good use right away with all those vegetables.

I planted the pots straight away with carrot, beetroot, spring onion, dwarf French beans, lettuce, spinach and swede
