Miniature garden layout

My mini garden is coming along nicely.  Yesterday I made some little raised beds which I finished with nicely mitred edging. I knew those mitre shears were a brilliant buy. Then I set to and made a little coldframe using craftsticks and a piece of plastic packing that Tony had found somewhere and put into my junk modelling box. The lid is simply attached with cotton thread. I drilled tiny holes in the lid and cold frame and simply stitched it together. It is brilliant the way it stays at whichever height I open it. That was a complete surprise so nothing that I can take the credit for. I'm leaving the big raised bed grey and painting all the little raised beds green. The acrylic paint adds another degree of stability as it acts a bit like glue. Today I want to try making my arbour seat.  If it's successful I will post a picture tomorrow.  If not then it's back to the drawing board.  I've an idea for making Greenstalk type planters and if it works it'll be so cute.  Watch this space.
