White Nine Star broccoli

 White Nine Star broccoli is  a new veg for me so it was with some trepidation that I harvested my first stalks last weekend.  I needn't have worried as it was absolutely lovely.  So much so that I picked a load yesterday and cooked and served it just like asparagus.  It's a short lived perennial and I'm hoping to get at least three years harvests from each plant. If you are a bit short on growing space so need to make the most of every inch I'd definitely say that it's worth considering. I grew mine from seed that I bought online but a told it's quite rare
