Positively tropical

 It's been unseasonably warm today and although it's too wet to do anything in the garden there are early signs that winter is ending and spring is on the way


We've got quite a few social days ahead. My friend Ann came for tea tonight and the whist group are celebrating Ann's birthday tomorrow at a local hotel. Tony and I along with my friend Marian are off to a ceilidh tomorrow night and Tony I are invited to Ann's birthday dinner at a hotel on Saturday. We're invited to tea at our friends Brenda and Brian on Monday. I think I'll definitely need to take a few longer walks next week if I hope to keep the pounds off

    I can't wait to watch the garden progress throughout the year. I hope you take us along to see it.

    It was around 28C here, according to my thermometer. Very, very mild indeed.
