Some time yesterday Tony was bitten above his eye by a flying insect of some sort or another. This morning he looks like Quasimodo. Poor love has swollen up all down the left side of his face. His eye has completely closed and I would share a photo but he asked me not to. He's going to call into the local chemist for antihistamines in the hope it takes the swelling down. Bless him. If it's not one thing it's another lately.
Oh, no. Poor Tony. I hope it goes down quickly. xx
ReplyDeleteIt took a couple of days but he's fine now.
DeleteSince living in our current house we have suffered from horse fly bites some summers. We have now found that savlon on the bite as soon as possible really helps. Where I used to swell and the bite used to ooze I now put on the savlon and this no longer happens. I hope Tony gets something to help, I really feel for him.
ReplyDeleteI'll try that as he does react badly to bites.
DeleteHope it's soon back to normal. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteHe's OK now thanks. X
DeleteDo hope the swelling goes down quickly and that Tony is okay.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
He's fine now thanks.
DeleteYuck! Hope it's gone down now. This is the time of year when the bitey flies are out here. I come up really badly when I get bitten by one. Mosquitoes are a pain, but I don't swell up as bad as I do with the horrible flies and there is no spray that helps repel them
ReplyDeleteThankfully the swelling has all gone down now. Poor love reacts violently to being bitten
