We've just called into Lidle and found that they are selling 2kg of extra large chicken drumsticks for £3.99. I bought two packs and I've frozen five sets of four for other meals. I've got ten big drumsticks left over and I'm going to marinade them overnight in some olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper . Tomorrow I'll roast them in the mini oven and they will be perfect for salads or snacks... I'm trying to avoid junk food snacking
Certainly a bargain, though I did have a thought, that you were maybe going to keep some chickens for eggs. Take care & hugs.

Good price. I must admit I find myself gravitating towards cooking a lot of chicken though husband gets 'tired' of it. He doesn't complain though.
