The little porch at the front of our house is a proper little sun trap and great for growing veg through the summer and for drying clothes through the winter months. The sun builds up a lot of warmth in there even on really cold days. I was telling my friend Marian that I like to sit in there and read my book as it's so bright and sunny. Look what she gave me yesterday. The chair and footstool are things she had tried to give away but nobody wanted them but they are perfect if a little large for the space. I'll pop them upstairs in the spare room for the festive season but they are a perfect place for me to sit and relax with a cup of coffee and a good book.
It's so true what they say about one man's trash being another's treasure isn't it.
Love it. I always enjoy being the recipient of anothers “trash”.
