Aren't the temperatures crazy for the time of year. Hopefully it will continue for a bit longer so I won't need to light the fire and use up some of my fuel stash. Zippy is going home this morning and once she's gone I'll wash all the throws on the sofa. With a bit of luck they'll dry outdoors as it's warm and windy today. She'll be sorely missed as she's been great company. I don't want to be tied down with a pet full time though and this time we've spent together has reinforced just how tying pets can be. Even though I've felt really poorly this past week I have dragged myself over the field three times a day to give Zippy a walk and in truth might have got over this bug a bit sooner if I'd been able to rest up. Tea is already cooked for tonight as it's the other half of the pasta sauce that I made yesterday. I'll add some extra onions and chili and a can of beans and it'll be tasty and filling. With a bit of luck I can rest up this afternoon with my book or some entrelac knitting. I might even have an early night tonight and see if I can shake the flipping lurgy off. I'll pop back later and show you the entrelac if I make a start. I love how it looks and it will be a gorgeous scarf when it's finished.
Pets are great and wish we still had one, but if we get to use the caravan in the future, some places aren't pet friendly. Rest up now & hopefully you'll soon be better. Take care & hugs.
ReplyDeleteWe too did not plan another pet. I'm hoping once the puppy is fully trained and my daughter can have a schedule change he'll be suited to her life full time. I hope you get better soon.
