It's dead simple... Buy me four builders buckets and two huge gravel trays... It's the start of growing season and Tony's just bought them for me... he knows what it takes to make me happy... D'ya think I'm easily pleased. :-)

The gravel trays are for growing veggies in the porch... That's one of my three baby avocado trees in the white bin behind the trays. They've really come through the winter well
Blimey, £1 for a big bucket? Where did Tony get them?
ReplyDeleteB and M but I think B and Q also sell them for £1. So much cheaper than buying big plant pots.
DeleteThanks Cherie, we'll probably get some. In the past we've bought the black buckets used to display flowers in Morrisons, they sell them (or used to, don't know if they still do) at £1 for 8. Husband used them for growing tomatoes in the greenhouse.
DeleteWell done Tony for keeping her happy.
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't take much to make me happy. :-)
DeleteGenius planting ideas! Well done, Tony! xxx
ReplyDeleteHe's a star isn't he.
DeleteLooks awesome. Sometimes I think that it's more fun to be creative than buy something that you 'ought' to use.
ReplyDeleteThe buckets are so much cheaper than plant pots of a similar size.
