Winter has arrived

Not content with wiping out our fence mother nature has now sent us a good layer of snow. The picture below looks like a black and white one but it isn't. That's how colourless it is here today.  That's fine as other than popping out for my covid booster  this afternoon we have nothing much on the cards for today. At some point this morning  when Tony gets up we'll start the mammoth task of getting all the Christmas things out of the loft. We'll get the house all blingy and festive looking over the next few days but I'm hoping the vaccination doesn't affect me badly or we'll have to wait until I feel better. I've heard mixed reviews on the booster so am not looking forward to it.

  3. I love the early snows of the season. No doubt yours will melt, but it sure brightens the landscape.

    1. It's hung around all day and doesn't show any sign of melting just yet but I doubt it will last for long as it rarely does.

    1. Thanks Stephenie. I feel fine other than a bit tender on the vaccination site. It's a risk I am more than happy to take. I'm really starting to feel festive and can't wait to start the Christmas decorating tomorrow

  6. Wow, that is some snowfall. Wonder how far down the coast they got it and if any fell around Scarborough. I see from your replies that the booster hasn't been too bad. We are due ours just before Xmas. Take care & hugs.

    1. I feel fine so far though my arm is a bit tender now... It wasn't earlier on so I am hoping that I don't get any side effects. Even if I do it's a risk I am more than willing to take.
