On Saturday night we had some friends over for a meal and a social evening. While we were talking Elaine happened to say that she had bought a doll house for her three year old granddaughter for Christmas and had been looking for some furniture. Well in my endless stash I had a box of brand new dolls house furniture which was looking for a new home. There was a little wardrobe, a toilet, several chairs and tiny tables as well as a few little cabinets and other furniture. Elaine was more than happy to take it off my hands and it's cleared another small space in the craft room. I asked whether she would like a tiny teddy for the doll house and last night I used a couple of scraps of velour fabric and sewed a tiny bear and a little dog. I kept the toys really simple without joints as I thought it would be safer for the littlun.
How fortuitous for her! Did you have an original plan for the tiny furniture? Your stuffed miniature animals are adorable.
ReplyDeleteI didn't Sam. I was given it with the doll house
DeleteYou are clever, I love the dog.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sooze. x
DeleteHow generous of you, hope she loves them. Moreover, who wouldn't love your teeny handmade teddy & puppy......they are gorgeous. Take care & hugs.
