It feels like a summer day and Thanks Vix

Thanks for the heads up Vix, I've just managed to book Tony's booster a short walk from our house for this coming Monday.

I've been out for my early walk at 07.30 this morning and it feels like a summer day. Off came the coat and up went the sleeves to top up the vitamin D levels though we do take a supplement at this time of year as the levels of sun aren't strong enough to fulfil our requirements... or so we are told.  Gawd know what generations of Brits did before the invention of  vitamin supplements. I'm making a fish pie for tea as I'm trying to get the spare freezer  emptied and switched off.  Having two freezers seemed like a good idea but as I pick almost all our veg fresh from the garden I don't need to run the extra one through the winter months. I might even consider getting rid of it as we don't use it the way I thought we would and the other one is perfectly big enough for fruit gluts in the summer months.  I'm cooking pancakes for Tony and a cheese omelette for my breakfast then we are  heading outside for a couple of hours of gardening. I have a project in mind so need to get on with it before the weather turns nasty.

  2. Good on you for booking with Vix's helpful info. Warming here now, but still quite windy. We'll have to see what today & then the weekend bring weather wise as they just can't get it right lately.(giggle). Take care & hugs.

    1. It's unseasonably warm here but I'm not complaining. Looks like snow is possible next week

  3. Hope you enjoyed your gardening. I watered mine today. It was wonderful to be out in the sunshine, even though it is getting cold here.

  4. Glad you were able to book in for a booster for Tony.

They have just opened them up for everyone here in Michigan. Currently we have the highest covid rate in the country. So they are trying to prepare. Really sad. A couple of people at husband's work have come down with it. Fingers crossed it hasn't touched our household but we are anxious to get the booster. I shall be looking for an appointment asap now that we are able.
