Brewing Kombucha

 If the news headlines are to be believed there isn't going to be any carbonated drink to be had.  I've just brewed a batch of kombucha  and intended to flavour it with a spoon or two of home made strawberry or raspberry jam when I come to do a second ferment. Good for the gut and wonderfully fizzy.  You could also use tinned fruit to flavour it in any variety that you happen to have.  Mango is particularly nice. I still have three bottles left from my last brewing and it's mighty fizzy. If I use fruit I blend the fruit into a pulp before adding it to the second ferment.
