I had planned on setting some more seeds going but will leave it for another day. The applique quilt that I am working on can occupy an hour or two of my time. It's been lovely to sit on an evening stitching the little hexi flowers onto the background and I am starting to make some headway with it. I don't think much will get done tonight though as I'm going out for tea with some friends this evening. I will be sticking rigidly to the diet so it's steak and salad all the way for me but I am not sure about drink as they are all loaded with sugar and carbs. Is it acceptable to ask for a glass of tap water given that pubs are struggling along. I may have to just bite the bullet and pay for a glass of sparkling water. My squeaky tight genes balk at paying for a glass of water.
How about a glass of tomato juice, you would be buying something and it will be healthy?
ReplyDeleteThat's a good idea. I will have a look at the carb content and see if it fits in with my allowance.
DeleteHope you enjoyed your outing & meal. Here in Oz, water is always available in a jug & glasses provided free of charge, even in pubs. Take care & hugs.
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoyed your evening out.
