A real scorcher

When we put the umbrella up over the table I know it's been a scorcher and we can look forward to a few more sunny days at least.

We've eaten outdoors for the past couple of days and  it's been lovely listening to the water trickling in the pond and the birds singing

It won't be long before the garden is filled with summer colour.  It's hard to believe that it's June tomorrow as this time last year my garden was ablaze with flowers.

  1. June here right now!!!! Glad to hear it is warming & you can enjoy eating outside. We did eat lunch outside yesterday as it did warm nicely after a very frosty start. Enjoy the sunshine, take care & hugs.

    1. It's funny how quickly forget about the weeks and weeks of cold weather as soon as the sun comes out.

  3. Your garden looks lovely we took my parents dog over to seaton for a walk as we needed some space it’s really pretty over there. Last time I went it was a dump! I cannot sit in the sun as it triggers migraines but I still enjoy it. Still not as hot and humid as toyko . My parents garden is all decked and full of shale and plants but it is still pretty. Take care and keep safe.

  4. Thanks Allie Jane. Seaton used to be a really busy beach covered in deck chairs with a proper fairground and donkey rides. I think it's time British seasides smartened themselves up if they want to attract tourists.
