It's the middle of the night

I'm wide awake with a bit of a temperature and a thumping headache so it may well be a reaction to the Covid vaccine that I had yesterday........  And it may well be that I went to bed far too early (9.30)  and have had enough sleep.  I am one of those people that thrive on around four hours of sleep and yesterday I got up at 05:30. It made for a very long day though and by early evening I was shattered after working in the garden all afternoon. Tony has begun painting the pergola in that lovely shade called Willow and it's really refreshed the wood. By the time I get the utility area of the garden tidied up it's going to look really nice. Frogs have been doing 'naughty things' in the pond. They have no shame whatsoever and we have some very big frogs for a relatively small pond. The fish usually eat most of the spawn but we appear to have lost three fish over the winter so the tadpoles might stand a chance this year.

This is on the cards for a good tidy up.

The white bar across the garden is the top of my temporary fruit cage. It's polythene pipe

The scent from the pink Hyacinths is knockout

These are tiny daffodil and we have pots of them dotted all around the garden

  2. I hope you feel better soon, I suspect it could be a side effect from the vaccine. It seems to be a common thread, headache after a vaccine.

  3. Just catching up & do hope you feel better. Seems quite a few bloggers have had a similar side effect. Not sure when we'll get ours yet. We are way behind your rollout, but it will happen & hopefully our winter won't make it any worse. Take care & hugs.
