Who would ever have guessed that the most excitement I've had in weeks would be a visit to the dentist for a checkup. The temperature this morning showed that it was -5 when I donned the 'Yaktrax' and set off in the snow. I would highly recommend buying yourself a pair if you are wary of walking in the snow. Tony has them supplied by his employer so I get to use his spare set and they are an absolute Godsend. The snow has been packed into thick sheet ice in some parts and that's the only area I was a little wary of walking. They grip really well and now that I found them again I can get out for a walk. This does mean of course that the snow and ice will disappear overnight and they will be put away 'somewhere safe' till we get more snow. Then I won't be able to find them again.

Ha! Ha! "put away and can't find them" yes...idem!! Thinking those chains would be brilliant for my sister who has to walk her dog several times a day I checked them out. Very reasonably priced on Amazon 20 € here. Take care Amanda x
ReplyDeleteGood to find them & be able to get out when needed. We had our first dental appointment last Tuesday in over a year. Mine was cancelled last February, so just hoping our follow ups go ahead now that we are back in full lockdown.
