Although it has been lovely and sunny today it's bitterly cold and definitely not 'working outside' weather. Snow has floated down all day and it's so cold that it's settling on top of the snow that fell yesterday. That has meant that I've not been out for a walk since Saturday as I'm really wary of slipping over. I spent an hour this morning appliqueing some of my hexagon flowers onto the quilt base. It is going to look very pretty when it's finished but I am hand stitching it all so it's going to take quite some time. How is the snow where you are?
Although it's felt like a lot of snow fell, in reality, not much remains on paths and pavements, just on soul, grass and plants. It's sunny as I type and it's really rather lovely and cheering.

A sprinkling has now settled but it is so cold its not good for a walk.
ReplyDeleteNo snow here & it is actually more like summer today & got to 29deg. Tomorrow is supposed to reach 33deg & then some rain & low 20s for 2 or 3 days, so very up & down. I've seen your applique on the latest post & it's going to be so pretty. Hope you sleep better tonight. I'm not the best sleeper, but never get up & try to get back to sleep.
