Wide awake

It's 02:00 and my brain is filled with plans for the garden.  I can't sleep so have come downstairs to see if watching You Tube videos will make me sleepy. I've had a slice of bread and jam and a cup of tea as I was feeling a bit peckish. I know from past experience that if I am hungry at bed time I just can't sleep so there is no point ignoring it. Tony snoring doesn't help and I may just have to move all the stuff off the spare bed (again) and sleep in there if it's going to be a regular thing. I'll give it another half hour and then head back to bed to see if I can nod off. I did mean to share a quick photo of the new applique quilt layout the other  day and completely forgot.  This is how it looks with the hexagon flowers pinned on. I have also added more flower stalks and some tiny hexie flowers to add to it since creating this layout.

  1. I like to have a nice soak in the bath as it relaxes my aching joints. At also makes me very sleepy. Paul will often just come into bathroom at 2am and just giggle. But he knows it helps my EDS. He knows I’m a very light sleeper and will let me rest whenever I can. My mum is also the same. Love the quilt you are very talented

  2. I'm sorry you couldn't sleep; I know from personal experience how miserable that can be.

    1. I've always had trouble sleeping but usually just lay in bed plotting my next craft project.

  4. I hope you manage to grab some sleep. Its rotten when you are desperate for sleep and it just won't happen.
