Another busy day

The weather has been absolutely gorgeous again and it's been another busy day here in Kemp Castle.  I posted over on my other blog if you are interested in the garden.

I'm now eyeballing the gravel patio and considering whether to increase the size of the lawn or create a flower bed..  I keep changing my mind so won't hurry to do anything with it just yet but don't need that much gravel any more. It has been very useful as a patio and it's hard to believe that the area was once a big pond.  It's quite a few years since we gave the big pond away and bought a smaller one. It's home to frogs, newts and our goldfish family.

  1. Much colder today in Essex, despite the sun being out. The wind had an easterly bite.

  2. I'm enjoying your progress of the garden & picking up ideas & tips from you, though some would be hard to implement on our steep block. Take care & hugs.

  3. It's turned a bit chillier here but it's so much nicer than a fortnight ago. No complaints from me whatsoever.
The garden will look amazing although I think it will always be a work in progress, won't it5? That's gardens for you!

    1. It's lovely to be able to work in the garden this time of year as we never know how cold a winter/spring we will get.

  4. It is too early to make a start on the garden here yet, but it has been nice to get out for a walk at long last.

  5. I wish I had a little pond. Not sure if I have space in my tiny back yard but where there's a will, there's a way!
