It's domestic goddess day... This morning I made a batch of red cabbage sauerkraut and decanted some of my home made vinegars into smaller bottles. The bottles are now sealed and ready to open as and when I need them. Then I decanted my citrus vinegar into an old gin bottle ready to use as an all purpose cleaner. It smells lovely and means I am not wiping nasty chemicals round my home. Next came mango kombucha, I have just set it going for a second ferment and once it's built up some carbonation I'll pop it in the fridge.

We stopped for a quick sandwich before I set to making a tasty chicken curry for tomorrow and Monday. It's simmering away as I type. I am having half an hour on the laptop before I sew some more of my applique cushion. What have you all been up to these past few days.
Sounds like a really busy day. It all looks so wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI love it when I am in the mood to spend the time making sauerkraut and jams.
DeleteYou have been busy and are indeed a domestic goddess. I was impressed by all the different vinegars.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea that vinegar could taste different but they are all quite unique
DeleteI went for a long walk in the beautiful sunshine and it was lovely.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to be able to go for a walk but we have snow ad thick ice everywhere. It's lethal underfoot and I am not chancing it.
