If I read one more post moaning about Boris I shall stop reading blogs until after Christmas. If one more person says that he hasn't listened to his advisors and has ruined Christmas for everyone I shall scream. We have all heard the same advice that Boris has heard. When and why did we need someone to tell us what we should and shouldn't be doing. We aren't children and for heavens sake we could all see it coming. And as for all the people rushing to leave the new level 4 on Saturday I say SHAME ON YOU. You are potentially the cause of this virus spreading NOT BORIS. I've just cancelled my morning walk with my friend and will be walking alone from now on until we know where we stand with that new version of the virus. I made that decision myself. I didn't need Boris... or anyone else for that matter.. telling me what I should be doing to keep myself safe.
I don't want to get into a slanging match with people with opposing views. Please respect my blog and if you want to have a rant do it on your own blog. You can even mention me by name if you like. I have very thick skin.
Good for you! I want to give people like you a socially distanced and a kiss! I broke down last night as this is the first year in 17 years I will not be in the UK. And it hit me like a lead balloon, we would be on a plane now entertaining our two youngest with games toys and rest. And we’re am I toyko . Lost alone like a scared little girl who has lost her mummy.
ReplyDeleteI have seen the horrible news presenters being mean and the opposition being full of hindsight but it’s a wonderful thing is hindsight! Work together not fighting like bullies in a school playground.
I Never seen such Terrible behaviour amongst adults. Here we do as we are told! that is why it is so low. I pray for you all. Love and peace
Bless you pet. Just think how wonderful it will be when you are able to come to the UK safely. x
DeleteWell said!! A bit of plain speaking certainly goes a long way!! So many selfish adults who use the "I don't understand what I have to do" as an excuse. This is not restricted to the UK either!! There is plenty of daily information about restrictions and socially distancing out there to be had quite easily! stay safe Amanda x
ReplyDeleteWell said you - with you all the way x
ReplyDeleteThanks Trudie. Have a lovely Christmas.
DeleteI wish you al well in the UK-I wish us all well in the US, as no doubt the strain will cross the pond. I hope you and yours stay healthy.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sam.x
DeleteIt's all very well for the opposing parties to run him down, but this is an unprecedented situation that changes rapidly. I defy anyone of them to do any better. I do like Boris as a man, whether or not I agree with his decision making, but I feel sorry for the poor bloke...what with covid and brexit, he must go to bed at night with a king size headache. He's damned whatever he does.
ReplyDeleteI won't rant on your blog or even my own. Let's just talk about our own little world. Does anyone really know what to do, as in the right or wrong way. After all, we've not experienced anything so massive affecting the whole world in our lifetimes. Let's all pull our heads in, use common sense & stay SAFE. Take care & huggles.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you..Boris is in the deep sh*t whatever he decided to do, common sense has gone out the window for some folks.
ReplyDeletestay safe

I'm not a big fan of his, but at least he's out there listening and standing up and doing something. The President here is AWOL. Haven't heard a peep. I think they are just hoping that people get it and if some die - oh well - cynical of me, but that's certainly what it feels like. I'm trying not to dwell on it, doing what I can to keep going forward.
