Tony and I have worked our little puddings out putting the shed together today. It's taken us all day, but by the time it was finished it was dark and we were working by torch light. (5pm) We think it would be a lot easier for younger, taller people. We are both in our sixties and we both have a dodgy knee. I'm 5ft three and Tony bless him is only 5ft 1, so we're hardly giants..I have a bit of painting to do tomorrow and will share a photo of the finished shed inside and out once it's all done and filled with 'stuff'. I'm pleased at how big it is and how much I will be able to fit in as it isn't even half the size of the current workshop. I bet we sleep soundly tonight.

It's great & I've been eyeing off a shed too & will take a photo of it soon (their website is useless)& pop it through to you. It's different but neat. I know what short is as I only ever reached 5' 1/2" and am now only 4'10 1/2", but DH is about 6'2" having lost about an inch. Take care, stay safe & huggles.
ReplyDeleteI am vertically challenged too but you did a grand job and it's looking great.
ReplyDeleteFantastic! I need to order a new shed, too. I will have to hire someone to assemble it. Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great and well done to the both of you. I would never, ever have the courage to tackle something like that.
ReplyDeleteI bet you slept well!
xx
Well done Cherie and Tony x
