Almost the end of the year

It's been a strange old year hasn't it. I think a lot of people will be glad to see the back of 2020. I am looking forward to Spring when my garden will burst into life and the sun will shine. Christmas is slowly disappearing from Kemp Castle and then I can bring all my lovely greenery back into the living room. It always feels so fresh when the plants are returned to their rightful place. It also means that we will be able to get int the spare room and have a good tidy up. It looks like an explosion in a garden centre at the moment. The windowsill and bed are smothered in plants and my craft stuff has disappeared under all the greenery. I have a yen to do a little beaded cross stitch and have some nice patterns to follow. It will help reduce the stash too. Level four looks like it's about to happen so beading will fill my time nicely. At the moment I am not walking due to the snow on the ground and the ice everywhere. I have no desire to slip and damage the dodgy hip after having come this far but as soon as the snow disappears I am planning a long walk every day. Although I would dearly love to meet up with my friend for a walk she mixes with far too many people for my comfort so I'll go it alone for a while.

  1. Hope you feel a little better tomorrow. It is a weird time between Christmas and New Year, always a tad depressing for me too. XXXXX
