It looks as though our four week lockdown will start on Thursday. I challenge you all to lose at least one pound each week of that four weeks. Let's not pile on the pounds ladies and gents. We have a few days to work out some lower calorie recipes so if you are up for a challenge let's see how well we get on. Just want to be clear that I'm not asking you to admit to how much you weigh. That's completely irrelevant to the challenge. If you have a lovely tasty low calorie recipe to share let me know. If enough people are interested I will create a separate page for the challenge and stick it at the top of this blog next to my veggie plot page.
You're on!!! You know where I post my recipes, please feel free to use any of them as and when.

Thanks Joy. That is very much appreciated. x
DeleteWe lost weight in the 1st lockdown, we just changed a few things we were eating and had smaller portions, we also walked each and every day, I've lost 20 pounds this year, so it does work.
ReplyDeleteWell done. It's the tiny changes that make a huge difference isn't it.
DeleteHi Cherie, my favourite meal right now is homemade Fish and Chips. It's a low calorie version.
ReplyDeleteYou need per person: a piece of white fish, one medium potato, three medium tomatoes, five mushrooms, 25g cheese grated (or Goat's cheese), half a wholemeal pitta, lemon or lime juice, a butternut squash or couple of sweet potatoes. Method: Heat the oven to 200/180 fan oven. Cut the root veg into small wedges. Toast the pitta then chop into tiny pieces. Place a roasting tray in the oven with 1 teaspoon oil. When this is hot, put the root veg in and toss them about. Cook for ten minutes. Place the white fish on a piece of foil, sprinkle the top with the chopped pitta and squirt with a little lemon juice. Put this into the oven. Either grate or thinly slice the cheese and out this on the mushrooms. Add these and the tomatoes to the oven. Enjoy!
OOH yum. That sounds lovely
DeleteI'm in the US, but in international unity, I will join you in this challenge. I agree, no reason to add to the stress by carrying more weight than we should to b healthy, and risk even adding more.
ReplyDeleteGood on you Sam. It will keep me motivated. x
