Home made yoghurt

I've been for my morning walk and when I got back I put some milk on to boil. It's now cooling and it will be turned into yoghurt this morning. We eat a lot of plain Greek yoghurt so I always like to have plenty in the fridge. While out walking I was sad to see that a pear tree has been cut down.  It was so productive but the owners never did a thing with the fruit. It used to rot all over the garden. It's such a pity.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the one around the corner from me is safe. What are your plans for today?  I'll pop back this afternoon ad see what you have all been up to.

My son's, Fiancee's sister in law has tested positive for covid so both he and Beckah went for a test last night.  Fingers crossed that it comes back negative.  Sam is pregnant with a much wanted baby so I am hoping that even though she tested positive she doesn't develop any symptoms. Her work colleague had tested positive so she was tested as a matter of routine. It came as such a shock that she had a positive result.

  1. My friend is worried sick as her daughter who had cancer aged 33 has just tested positive and was warned that her immune system would take years to recover. I saw a yoghurt maker on FB selling page for £10 and thought about it. But I don't eat enough. I do use Greek yoghurt in quite a few things though.

    1. These are such worrying times. I hope your friend's daughter is ok. x I don't use a yoghurt maker just a glass bowl covered with a tea towel. Keep it somewhere warm for a few hours then when it's set cover it with cling film and pop it in the fridge. It's lovely. I use my wax wraps now instead of cling film
