Carrots

Last night I checked on the carrots in the secret garden and thinned them out a little just to see how they are getting on. I had no idea whether they would be all top and no root but look... They are beautiful. Small but beautiful and so very tasty.  Cost of a packet of carrot seeds off ebay  99p  I have another two rows coming along and last night I added yet another row to see us through the winter. I have plenty of carrots seeds left over to plant some in the spring so if things get really tough I can make a big pan of soup with some foraged weeds and a handful of carrots. Now I want to learn how to make stock cubes or jars of veggie stock so if anyone has made any before I'd love to know how
