Back home

Tony and I spent last night in Appleby and we have just arrived home.

I think he is beginning to get itchy feet and the urge to move house. He does this from time to time and I think one day we will definitely move house but hopefully not for a while. When we visit somewhere stunningly beautiful we like to look into the estate agents window to check out price and availability. Appleby is gorgeous but we won't be moving there as it suffers dreadful flooding every few years. The doors on the houses have special frames where flood barricades can be slotted into place when the need arises. We called into Mainsgill farm shop on the way back and I managed to get a photo of two of the camels in the field there. They really are an eye catching sight and not the sort of thing you would expect to see wandering around a field in England

  1. Is that photo a castle from the air? I've passed through Appleby in Cumbria, but only on the train. Camels are invisible......Take care, stay safe & huggles.

  3. I also have a habit of looking in the estate agent's window whenever I visit anywhere new. X
