Whitby

When Tony came home from work this afternoon he asked if I fancied a run out after tea. Initially he suggested Helmsley but we always seem to head over that way so we settled on Whitby. The weather was gorgeous when we left here but as we approached Whitby a thick fog was settling in the dips and hollows.  Whitby was surprisingly quiet when we got there so we pulled in to a parking bay and Tony popped out and bought us both an ice cream. We sat n the car and thoroughly enjoyed them. Mine was salted caramel while himself had vanilla. It's ages since we were last in Whitby and we are planning a trip over there for fish and chips one evening next week. The scenery between my home and Whitby is absolutely breathtaking and I never grow tired of the journey. Hope you have had a lovely day and are keeping your chin up.

  1. It feels good just to go somewhere, doesn't it? Nothing like ice cream this time of year. Glad you and Tony had a nice time together.
