A bit of beading

The weather can't seem to make up its mind what it wants to do just lately. It hasn't stopped me walking every morning though and it's a great start to the day.  Over the past few days I have had the urge to play with some of my beading stash. Beckah's birthday is next week so I thought it might be nice to make her a bracelet. She isn't a particularly girly girl so I stuck with black and silver as a theme. I also used up some Swarovski crystals and pearls and made myself a few little summery bracelets. Not that I wear jewellery very often but it was fun making them and it filled an afternoon nicely. I won't tell you how many times I changed my mind about the colour combination and had to pull them all apart. 

Waiting to have clasps added

I had ordered myself a BLM badge to stitch onto my shopping bag and it needed a beaded treatment too. I pulled this out several times too 

I pinned the badge onto a piece of felt and then treated it like a cabochon. It's far nicer than it looks

I finished adding beads to it and stitched it onto my bag at the top

I do wish you could smell this little vase of flowers. The fragrance is filling the room.
