Memory loss

I have found that my memory loss became terrible  while I was on the higher dose of nerve blocker.  I would see something 'new' only for Tony to tell me that I had seen it several times before. Gradually the mists are lifting as I ease that awful but necessary drug from my system. I only have one more reduction then I will be free of the fog. It's been fun reading back through some of your blogs though. It's like meeting new friends, as I had completely forgotten most things about you all.  I didn't remember whether you lived in a town or city, a green space or coastal area. I knew nothing about your hobbies or families..  Now my brain is returning to normal and I am seeing opportunities to craft everywhere I look.  Yayyyyyy, I almost have my life back.  The leg is still very numb below the knee but I doubt I will ever have it back the way it was.  I can live with that.

  2. Thanks Joy. It was a year last month. I feel as though I lost a complete year due to the leg and now we are losing another due to this virus. Strange times aren't they.

  5. I think that surgery does a number on the memory. For mine, I was out for three hours. But, we needed to have it done, and it is worth it. You sound so happy now, and no longer in pain. It really takes over your life. I hope the numbness goes away; that's too bad. My dad's face was numb for almost a year after having some skin cancer removed.
