And for breakfast this morning I made some mini oat banana pancakes and enjoyed them with a spoonful of home made yoghurt and a few grapes. I did add another one to the plate and have another batch made ready just to warm up for tomorrow's breakfast
Along the lanes I'd love to wend, near Artist's Mews, on Writer's Bend. Where fragrant flowers of every hue sparkle in the morning dew. I wish I lived in Carver's Valley, Quilter's Creek or Cross Stitch Alley. Just think of all the things I'd make, if I lived by Crafters Lake.......... Pretty spring flowers
My garden is beginning to spring back to life and there is so much colour starting to appear. Frogs have been up to naughty stuff in the pond and we have a large clump of spawn. The fish will eat most of it but there are always a few little froglets that manage to escape. It's a bit chillier this morning but as the garden is so sheltered it will soon warm up if the sun comes out. I have a number of favourite spots to take a cup of tea and a book if I want to sit quietly in the garden. This enforced time of lockdown has given me plenty of time to ponder the changes that I hope we can make over the next few years. I think the pond could do with digging out and starting again as it has sunk a lot more than we thought it would. We will leave it till the autumn though as we don't want to scare off any little frogs or newts.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers! How is your hip doing? It sounds like you are feeling like your old self again.
ReplyDeleteHi Stephenie, my hip is fine although the scar tugs a bit. The nerve damage has left me with a very weak leg and a troublesome knee. I have no idea whether it will ever be fully healed but I am grateful for an improvements that come my way.
DeleteBeautiful garden I love this time of year when new growth is just starting.
