It had to be done

I don't know what I did last night but I was in agony all night long with a bad back. I wonder if I turned over awkwardly. I was in serious pain all morning but I seems to have eased off now. I looked at my hair in the mirror when I eventually got out of bed and couldn't stand it one minute longer.  I took my scissors and cut my hair and if I do say so myself I did a pretty darn good job. It must look ok as Tony didn't even notice until I told him.
The weather today was much nicer than Tony and I had expected so we went for a short walk when himself got in from work. We had tea a bit later too this evening. Hopefully it will stop us grazing through the fridge later tonight.

  1. I was lucky enough to have my hair cut a few days before our shut in notice was given. It's almost been seven weeks (yikes really!) and it will be a few more before I can have it cut. I must admit that I won't be cutting mine lol. I will be wearing it up in some fashion instead.

  2. Ummm... I cut Keith's hair, but will leave mine alone, as I don't visit the hairdresser often & wear it longish(it's dead straight) so I can tie it back in our hot summers. Not even warm this morning (4.5deg celsius), but supposed to be sunny before a severe cold snap with snow in the alpine areas & rain for us lower down. Brrr!! We'll definitely do a good walk today & I'll probably get those 2 baby quilts quilted whilst so cold, as I won't get back into the garden after today. Want to reconfigure our backyard over winter. Take care, stay safe & hugs from down under.

  3. Good for you!
I am tempted to do the same with mine!
Glad your back is feeling better, and my husband just got home and asked me to go for a walk.
My initial thought was nah...but you inspired me!!!
    Have a cozy evening!

  4. So very sorry to read about your back. It sounds very unpleasant and I'm glad it seems to have eased off - hope it stays that way.
I've decided that as long as I keep trimming my fringe, the rest, being a long bob style, and just get longer until the lovely Sharon can come back again.
