I have been laying awake for the last hour so have given in and got up. There isn't really a lot I can do at this ungodly hour without waking Tony or disturbing the neighbours so I shall browse the internet for an while. With a bit of luck I might feel tired enough to go back to bed by then. I've a new quilt project brewing in my head and I think that is what has kept me awake this morning. I am planning colour schemes and layouts. I do wish my brain would just settle itself down.
I had a couple of video chats with friends yesterday, My friend Bert wasn't sure how to use watts app to make a video call and I was baffled when the screen was just showing red.... He had put it to his ear. I talked him into moving it away so that he could actually see me. With a bit of luck he will be able to video chat with his sisters now. Bert lost his wife last year and if you have been following my blog for a while you will remember the appalling way that they were treated by the walking group. I immediately stopped walking with that group but stayed in touch with Bert and Pam. Sadly the Alzheimers gradually took Pam, she rapidly declined last year and fell asleep peacefully surrounded by her family. Bert was a wonderful husband who always put Pam first.
Morning Cherie, I've been up since 5 ish, was planning on a lie in this morning but husband woke me up by leaping out of bed groaning with leg cramps. He got back in bed, I got up. Oh well, at least I managed to get a shopping delivery booked for 3 weeks time, so that's good. Had to smile about Bert putting his phone to his ear....my lovely mum did exactly the same thing when she was in hospital and sis did a WhatsApp video call with me. Hope you manage to get another sleep in.
